The University of Washington has discovered a new app that can send messages underwater.
It is the first app to transfer messages through your mobile inside water. It is the first aqua app used in your present smartphone or smartwatches. Any extra hardware does not
need to be installed. But it would help if you had a waterproof case to hold your smartphone.
Radio waves are responsible for transferring data in smartphones. Radio waves can not
propagate through the water. Water absorbs the radio waves, so messages can not propagate
Sound waves can travel through water. The app works on acoustic base communication as
sound waves can transfer the messages inside the water.to communicate inside water in real-time
adapts are being performed. It shows differences In frequency shown by mobile devices, changes
in their path, and noise at different places. It is also checked when someone moves from one
place to another. Six other real-world locations are chosen for the evaluation. 2- 15 m deep in
the presence of ships are being observed. At the range of 30 m, real-time adapts show 100bps
to 1.8 kbps. Its transmitting capacity can be increased by lowering the bit rate by 10-20 bps; it can improve about a 100 m range.
As everybody knows, divers use their hand movements to communicate.
