I bought a KIA Sportage IN DR November 12,the car engine exploded November 15

I bought a KIA Sportage November 12, 2011, in the Dominican Republic, less than 10 months of purchase, 14,000 Km (8,750 miles) the car engine exploded November 15, 2012. These pistons have holes in them.

VIAMAR is the representative of KIA in the Dominican Republic said they are not responsible for the explosion of the motor. Since I got the car, I have had several problems; this also happened to many people in different countries with KIA and Hyundai which is the same manufacturer, same engine, using both brand names to sell more cars. They told me that the car has no guarantee because I did not make the last OIL CHANGE in the dealership.

Your company sells over 1.4 million vehicles in 2010, your Net Income was 3 Billion dollars, you have dealers in 172 countries and you rank as company number 318 globally in July 2012. Resolving this issue must not be that difficult, it is just a question of COURAGE TO RESPECT THE CONSUMER.

KIA Motors Company did not make the intelligent decision of doing the right thing and taking responsibility for the factory defective motor. It has been six months and still not solved. I wanted to solve this unfortunate matter cordially and amicably, but they refused to listen to what I had to say. I had no choice but to hire a lawyer to defend me. I am still pursuing the matter, the Court will decide.

After 6 years April 13, 2018, we won in appeal, we won in the Supreme Court, now we are waiting for the sentence.

P.S. WE HAVE BEEN IN COURT WITH KIA FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS, THEY HAVE BEEN POSTPONING. WE WON THE APPEAL, NOW WON IN THE SUPREME COURT BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO SET A PRECEDENT.

THINKING THAT BY WASTING PRECIOUS TIME THAT THEY WILL EVENTUALLY WIN OR GET US TO DESIST. WE ARE VERY PATIENT.

WE WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW THAT KIA INTERNATIONAL DOES NOT RESPECT THE WARRANTY THEY OFFER.THERE IS ALWAYS A FINE PRINT.
